Abortion is the ending of a pregnancy before birth. Early in a pregnancy, the fertilized egg that grows and develops is called the embryo. After three months of development, it is usually called a fetus.
An abortion causes the embryo or fetus to die. Abortion is such an inhumane thing to do.
A baby is a human being from the point of conception, which has been scientifically proven. This should mean that the baby has basic human rights for example, the right to live.
Arguments against abortion are based on the belief that an abortion is the unjustified killing of an unborn child. Some believe that human embryos and fetuses have a legal right and that abortion is an actual form of murder.
The main purpose of abortion being immoral is how they are so viciously done Everyday, innocent, harmless fetuses are destroyed that some day could be a child laughing and playing. Did you know that 18 days after conception, an EKG of the baby can be record a human heart. Three months after conception the baby has legs and arms with the same fingerprints as it would have when it is grown.
The Abortion procedure is horrific and horrible in itself. Suction aspiration, or "vacuum curettage," is the abortion technique used in most first trimester abortions.
A powerful suction tube with a sharp cutting edge is inserted into the womb through the dilated cervix. The suction dismembers the body of the developing baby and tears the placenta from the wall of the uterus, sucking blood, amniotic fluid, placental tissue, and fetal parts into a collection bottle.
If you think this is gross, there are many other forms of abortion. There is one called Partial-Birth Abortions. This procedure is used to abort women who are 20 to 32 weeks pregnant or even later into pregnancy. At this point in a partial-birth abortion, the baby is alive.
The collapsed head is then removed from the uterus.
Just writing about it makes me sick, and to think people actually have this done. There are other choices then abortion. There is always adoption. There are many people who want a baby and can not have one, who would love to have the baby.
At least with adoption the baby will get the chance of a full and normal life, like every human being should. Also if the baby is being aborted on the basis that the woman cannot cope financially with the baby, there are many support groups she can contact which will fully support the baby and provide the mother with clothes, food and any other essentials the baby may need.
With all these options available, I fail to see the need to kill an innocent human life and therefore feel abortion is a selfish immoral act.Essay title: Abortion – Right or Wrong Abortion consideration requires one to look at the law, social thoughts, religious concepts, family emotions and, ethics and morality/5(1).
The abortion debate most commonly relates to the "induced abortion" of an embryo or fetus at some point in a pregnancy, which is also how the term is used in a legal sense.
Some also use the term "elective abortion", which is used in relation to a claim to an unrestricted right of a woman to an abortion, whether or not she chooses to have one.
